I completely forgot this drawing existed for a long time, which feels slightly mad considering the number of hours hidden in all the fur and bark texture that I would of lost to time in a pile of paper. Was so pleased to find it.

Coming back to it afterwards felt rewarding. I don’t tend to be able to finish something was I’ve stopped for too long.

The empty space around the drawing is something I’ve found I like to do. It kept the whole thing fairly understated and let the detail speak for itself.
